More Memories by April

Hi! good evening. Found this picture today and thought Id share it with you. 

This was taken on a trailride with my grandmommy and granddaddy. I look so happy, because I was! I loved to go trailriding. We did it all the time and I was the best dog for the job. So many memories. Mommies been doing it since she was born and Ive been doin it since she was 4, when she got me. So roughly 17 years. I remember this one time I was sitting with mommy while she was tlkin to some friends of hers and they were cookin  some delicious steak on this short little grill. I was kinda a bad girl and when they werent lookin I snuck one off and ate it!!! hahaha Mommy laughed about it, it was funny.. to me at least & mommy. :) It was tasty, her friend sure was a good cook. 

When we would ride with a ton of people and wagons mommy and grandmommy and granddaddy would ride in the back but I liked to stroll to the front and visit every body else and then when Id get too far up Id stop on the side of the road and wait for mommy and as soon as I saw them I knew everything was ok and Id go ahead and go back up front, but Id always check on them and make sure they were ok!!  well I hope yall enjoyed those little short stories and I will see you later! Day 5 by April

I didnt get around to this yesterday because we were busy so Ill do yesterday this morning and maybe Lucy will do today tonight. Mommy snapped this picture of me while I was sleeping yesterday.

Look at my little tongue stickin out. I was sleeping good, didnt even realise shed taken the picture. Daddy laughed and said it looks like I need a bath and mommy agreed so Ill probably be gettin a bath and me nails cut soon! :) and probably a trim. my hair gets EVERYWHERE all kind of April dust bunnies under things haha Mommy said when she cleans the carpet all of my hair gets stuck in the sucky thing, you could make a whole new April out of the hair it catches. Mommy left for a bit yesterday but came back pretty soon. Daddy had his brother over and they were lifting these bars with round black things on the ends, they look heavy. And man did daddy stink!! he needs a bath too :) well thats about all for today. Have a great evening!

Day 3 by April

So yesterday was all sun shinny but later that evening we had some thunder and lightening but no rain. I am so scared of lightening, well I guess its mostly thunder, I hate loud noises. Im not sure what sparked my fear of thunder, I guess most dogs dont like it, who really likes thunder any way, human or animal!? haha.. well mommy tried to get some pictures of it but as you can see it wasnt that easy haha.. its interesting though for me to look at, I wouldnt go out side and look at it my self, the scardy cat (dog) that I am. :)  I can remember back in the day when it would start to thunder I would find any place to hide, and mommy wind up puttin in a  doggy door for me so I could go inside in this little room of my own when ever I wanted through out the day, I hope I get another doggy door one day. Before the doggy door when mommy wasnt home I would run to the neighbors and hide on their porch or under their house but if mommy was home she would let me in, she knew how much I hated it !! Shes so great, and knows me so well. Hmm, I dont have much more to say about this. I hope yall stay safe and stay away from lightening!! have a nice evening.
